Kanchanaburi appeared in the Ayutthaya period. It is the main city because there is a border city in the war with Burma, it is an army route where enemy countries march through the three pagodas checkpoint and is sometimes a battlefield. During the Thonburi period, the Thai capital was at war with Burma 10 times.
During the Rattanakosin era, there was a war of 9 armies at the battlefield over the lawn. After the war moved the location of the city from Lat Ya came to set up at Tambon Pak Phraek until 2374 B.E., King Rama III had requested the construction of the city wall and a permanent fortress
